Life Is Lived in Reality
Publicación en inglés · interfaz traducida · Idioma original: Romanian

I'll say it without false modesty: right now, my relationship with digital life is a balanced one, and I take full credit for it.
I've managed not to get swallowed up – not by social networks, not by the little tricks they use to keep you there, not by viral trends or adverts. I use media for what it's good at: entertainment, information, discovery. I love discovering things, as many as I can.
I won't claim I spend hardly any time online. But I would never, not in a million years, compare a walk in nature – or arriving somewhere new I've been longing to see – with anything on a screen. Next to that, digital life is nothing. Life is lived in reality, full stop. The rest is just sharing.
It wasn't always like this. A few years ago I spent a lot of time on TikTok. Then one day I realised how much of my time was disappearing into it, and I uninstalled the app. I haven't opened it since.
Lo que aprendí
That I can do the things I set out to do. What matters is to set yourself a goal, to try, and to push past your own limits.
Lo que cambié
Not at the moment.
