Project Kick-Off: 5 Countries, 1 Mission

Representatives from all five partner organisations met online to officially launch the Youth of Europe: Digital Wellness project. Over three days, we aligned our goals, assigned roles, and set the roadmap for the next 24 months.

Online Training: Understanding Compulsive Behaviours

30 youth workers from Romania, France, Croatia, Poland, and Turkey completed a 4-day online training on compulsive behaviours and screen addictions, facilitated by experts from Vrapce Psychiatric Hospital. Topics included the neurological basis of addiction, intervention strategies, and method-sharing.

International Training in Turkey

All 30 youth workers gathered in Izmir for a hands-on training focused on facilitation skills, workshop rehearsals, and skill-building in art-therapy, storytelling, and coaching. Mock workshops, peer reviews, and planning for the local implementation followed.

Workshops Begin Across Europe

The 8-week workshop programme officially launched in all five countries. 225 young people are now participating in weekly sessions covering everything from understanding risks to building resilience.

Peer Campaigns: Youth Teaching Youth

After completing the workshops, groups of young people planned and delivered awareness campaigns in their communities — reaching hundreds of peers with real stories and practical strategies for healthy digital habits.

Website Launch: 50+ Stories and Counting

The Digital Wellness website is now live, featuring over 50 real stories from young people, all project resources for free download, and the Digital Wellbeing Assessment tool.
